Dir.Jean-Pierre Jeunet/Marc Caro France 1995 This futuristic sci-fi fairy tale by the creators of Amelie and Delicatessen is set in a gloomy port where a mad scientist, Krank, kidnaps children in order to capture their dreams. He's assisted by a dwarf and 6 squabbling clones (all played by Dominique Pinon) and is heckled by a pickled brain. A pure-hearted lug and a tough nine-year-old nymphet join forces against Krank to retrieve lost compatriots, encountering a clan of cyclopes and sinister Siamese twins along the way.
