Touch of Evil
Dir. Orson Welles US 1958/1998
After the studio re-edited the film, Touch of Evil became one of the greatest B-movies ever made; hardly Welles' intention. Working from a memo left by Welles, Touch has been restored to a version closer to his original vision. The classic opening sequence established the plot of murder and corruption in a Mexican border town.(111m)
