In solidarity with the 3/20 march, we are pleased to bring back We Interrupt This Empire..., a collaborative film documenting the direct actions that shut down San Francisco following the U.S. invasion of Iraq. Showing the diversity of resistance in the streets of S.F. and providing a critique of the mainstream media coverage of the war, the film explores the corporate war-profiteering, attacks on civil liberties and the current U.S. imperialist drive. Screening prior to We Interrupt... will be recent anti-war shorts from around the globe. (video; 90m) Q & A after screenings. |
