This companion film to Jeffrey Moussaieff Mason's latest book, The Pig who Sang to the Moon, offers an in depth look at the emotional lives of the sentient beings who exist primarily to become someone's dinner. Mason visited with animals living on farm sanctuarys like Animal Place in CA and Farm Sanctuary in NY and examines the changes that come over an animal who makes it from a factory farm to the safety of a sanctuary.
