Over 1 billion people on earth donít have access to clean water and many US states could run out of water in the coming decades. Many private companies even go so far as to purchase the rights to the natural resource in countries around the world. With these looming facts in mind, FLOW: For Love of Water acts as a crier for awareness and change of the current water consumption and consideration. On a world scale, the run for potable water is shaping up to be a crisis bigger than an oil deficit. What should be considered a basic human right is quickly being privitized by international corporationas and the World Bank. Wars, disease and deaths are common in the struggle in many countries. Talking with experts, politicians, and those directly affected, the documentary probes this important issue and finds small ways in which groups of people are helping to change to tide. (93m)
